As we’ve mentioned before in discussing sparsity in synth music, the artist must choose their sounds carefully and well, which Moss Witch has definitely done here. They’ve opted to go directly to tape with a slew of straightforward, chiptune-esque melodies resting on a bed of springy low-end waves, periodically violated by violent, distorted messages from realms beyond.
